While in college me and some of my college buddies decided to grab our Boogie boards and head down to Santa Monica Beach. While in the water, unbeknownst to me, I got caught in a rip current. Without exerting any effort it pulled me so far out to sea that I had to be rescued by a lifeguard on SeaDoo. Sometimes in this journey called Life we can find ourselves caught in a "spiritual rip current". This week's message provides help in those trying moments. Continued Blessings, Dr. Towns
On this journey called life there are going to be times when we simply "drift" away from God. But, the Lord knew this which is why He left us His Holy Spirit to help us. So, the issue is not the drifting per se (because we're all going to drift at one point or another). The real issue is when we're "unaware" that we've drifted or that we are currently drifting from God. This week's message can help you (and me) know if we've drifted or are drifting from God. Over the past four weeks we've shared scripture to help us understand the consequences of "drifting" on this journey of life. I've challenged each of you to make sure you don't "Hebrews 10:26" as you learn God's word and will for your life. Today's message brings hope that NO MATTER how far we've drifted we can ALWAYS COME BACK HOME (just like the prodigal son). However, I want you to be mindful that there will always be haters who are not excited about your return. Continued Blessings, Dr. Town
On this journey we call life there are times when we "drift" from our first love. The book of Jude shares insights into the slippery slope of apostasy. This phenomenon has a tendency to pull us further and further away from Jesus...but very slowly. However, the real question is not whether or not you are drifting, but rather or not you know your way back home after drifting. This messages provides help regardless of your drifting status (drifting or drifted). Continued Blessings, Dr. Towns

[Part 1 of 3] The first sermon of the year is always pivotal because it sets the tone for the rest of the year. As we embark upon this new year (2023), we often set our sights on doing better in several areas of our lives. Unfortunately, we seldom include our relationship with the Lord on that list. This sermon starts that conversation and encourages believers to "Remember Our First Love" and even RUN BACK TO JESUS if necessary. Continued Blessings, Dr. Towns
