                                                             "WE ARE WHAT WE DO"

As a local non-denominational, community-based, Christian church we are called to serve. WE EXIST TO SERVE YOU! We believe the church is not a building, but A People who are called the Ekklesia (the church...The Called Out Ones). 

Our focus is on "being" the church, not "attending" church!!!

Therefore, just because we have to practice social distancing, and are unable to congregate DOESN'T MEAN WE CAN'T SERVE!!! A church should me more about "being" the church, rather than simply "attending" church.  

In light of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, Ekklesia church members and supporters, who are not “at-risk”, will be assisting the most vulnerable in our community (senior citizens) with grocery shopping and dropping off donated COVID-19 hygiene supplies at their residences. 

While some stores are graciously opening an hour early for our SCV seniors to shop before the crowds, many are unable to complete their shopping in an hour. Additionally, being in the store jeopardizes their health by exposing them to possibility of contracting the virus. 

Furthermore, some may not be able to get the supplies they need because of recent "panic buying". As a result, each day we will visit stores to purchase certain hygiene items (toilet paper, wipes, hand sanitizer, etc) to maintain our inventory so that when a senior citizen calls with a request we will have ample supplies on hand to meet their need. 

To help us replenish/maintain our inventory we will ask others to donate hygiene items from their personal supply. We are open to accepting financial donations as well (click the link to the right to make a financial donation). 

IMPORTANT NOTE: We are a very small church, with a heart to serve. However, while supplies are extremely limited, were going to do our best to help as many of our seniors as possible.
